Sink Repair & Installation Services

Simple and Fast Sink Repair & Installation Services

The sink is an important and commonly used appliance in your home. It’s where you brush your teeth, wash your vegetables, clean your hands, and is a critical part of every person’s daily routine. Yet sinks are highly susceptible to clogging because of how much we use them. And will no doubt require sink repair at some point. At a minimum, a sink blockage will inconvenience anybody who needs to wash dishes or their hands. But at the worst, a clogged sink could lead to higher water bills and potential water damage. Or even a need to replace an entire sink if not dealt with quickly.

But you don’t need to worry about this at all. And that’s because we at the Plumbing Squad are trained to assess any sink problems you have and determine the quickest, safest, and most affordable solution for your unique plumbing needs. You can look at the comprehensive list of sink services we offer below that’ll get any sink job done and make your life as easy as possible.

Bathroom Sink Repair

At some point you’re going to face common sink problems like a clogged drain created from things like hair, leftover soap or shampoo, and more as well. Sometimes you can fix it yourself with a plunger. But when this doesn’t work, you’ll need the help of a professional plumber, as sometimes a clog is too deep into the pipes, or simply requires plumbing expertise to get the job finished.

Plus, on top of making sure your bathroom drains are working smoothly, we also handle any leaks or even unsightly chips in your porcelain sinks. That way not only is your sink going to work well, but it will look great afterward also.

Kitchen Sink Repair

A kitchen sink is going to meet its fair share of food, grease, and other drain-clogging items as well, since its main duty is working as a garbage disposal. So it’s no surprise to find your drain not working one day, and nothing you do seems to fix it. Unfortunately, dealing with greasy pipes is not something ordinary DIY efforts can handle. So if you find that conventional methods like snaking your drain or vinegar and baking soda are failing you, it’s time to call in your local the Plumbing Squad to save the day.

We’ve cleared up more kitchen sinks than we can count, and can have yours fixed up in no time as well.

Commercial Sink & Drain Repair

When it comes to running a business, making sure everything works smoothly is important. And this applies to your cleaning facilities as well. Your employees will not only enjoy a clean working sink to use, they’ll expect it, too. Typically, a commercial sink will experience far more usage than a standard home sink. And between all the employees and customers, The Plumbing system is under more stress in comparison to the one at home. That means you’ll want to make sure you’re on top of any clogs or leaks immediately. Otherwise, your business may take a productivity hit from an emergency plumbing distraction.

Additionally, it may be beneficial to set up regular maintenance for your commercial sink and drain. That way you never have to worry about this again.

Sink Service Repair & Installation FAQs

In this section you will find some of the most frequently asked questions we hear about our sink repair & installation service.

What actions do you take to unclog a sink?

The plunger is the first move you should make with a clogged sink. Make sure there’s a tight suction with the plunger so it works properly as well. If it’s a double sink, use a stopper on the opposite one to keep the suction working properly. Then just have a go at it and see if you can unclog it.

Can I use chemical drain cleaners?

We don’t suggest chemical drain cleaners for a variety of reasons. Not only are they bad for the environment and your plumbing in the long term, they pose health hazards, too. If you use them too many times, they’ll erode the material your plumbing is made of and potentially create problems in the future. If you must use them, only use them once in a blue moon. Just make sure they don’t become a regular part of your unclogging routine, or there may be big water damage consequences because of it.

Is that weird gurgling sound my sink makes normal?

If you’re hearing strange gurgling sounds from your sink, then you’ve likely got a clog that needs to be dealt with. Just take the same actions you would if your sink was completely clogged. If that doesn’t seem to work, then you’ll need to call us in to get your sink fixed up before it becomes a major plumbing problem to deal with.

So when do you call a plumber?

First, take a second and see if there’s any mess being made. If things are getting dirty, call a plumber immediately. Then check and see if other drains are affected as well. If others aren’t working, too, you’ve got a main drain issue that a professional needs to deal with. And you’ll also want to consider how much traffic a clogged drain sees. For example, if it’s a bathroom sink near the living room and your whole family uses it, you should get it fixed asap. But if it’s a basement sink drain that nobody ever uses, you’ve got a little time and can test out your DIY options if you have the experience.
